Goffs-Churchgate are delighted to announce that they were placed as runners up in the Virtual Schools “BU2Z” (Bringing Under Achievement to Zero) Awards. This is in recognition of the excellent work that the school does with Looked After Children, specifically the way in which Pupil Premium Plus money is spent. It is a mechanism the Virtual School uses for sharing best practice via case studies. This year there were large numbers of entries from across Hertfordshire and there was a panel of 8 who reviewed and scored all of the submissions, including County Council Members, Social Care Managers and an Assistant Director for the local authority. The runners up award consisted of £1000.
