Primary School Lego STEM Competition

Posted on: 4th July 2019

As part of our ongoing Primary Transition work at Goffs-Churchgate Academy, we held our first Lego STEM competition on Thursday 3rd July 2019.  150 students in teams from local primary schools, competed in a range of challenges, designed to make them think and work as a team.  The first event was to build the highest Lego tower, the second the strongest and most creative Lego bridge, and the third event was to see which team could get 6 pieces of A4 paper to travel the furthest.

There was some amazing designs and creative solutions to the problems.  Congratulations to the team from Burleigh Primary School who won the competition.

We look forward to repeating this event next academic year
